Current Activities:


  • Mentoring for School Aged Youth: Providing guidance to youth.
  • Field Trips: Several field trips occur throughout the year to introduce children to innovative and creative activities in the Southwest Florida area, e.g. participating in “No Child Left Ashore,” and visiting the Imaginarium, Conservancy of Southwest Florida, local nature center, local museums, libraries in different areas of Lee County, Sun Splash, and more.
  • Community Events:
    • (a)  Enriching the Future – Our Students Back to School Back Pack annual July event;
    • (b) Eye Glass Day in September at the offices of Quigley Eye Specialists in Ft. Myers;
    • (c) Annual Meeting –the Academy takes time to recognize the board, donors, grantors and volunteers.
